Hola Members!

As promised, there are loads of activities lined up by our Committee for you guys. Here are two activities which we've been planning for the holidays.

1) Anglican BBQ Nite

Date: 21st March 2009 (Saturday)
Venue: Pasir Ris Park (Next to Downtown East)
Activities: BBQ, get-together, quizzes with game prizes to be won!

NB: A small contribution to the BBQ preparation would be collected.

Be prepared for a day/night of fun with game quizzes about our club (so you guys should interact and ask more about our club from your instructors for tips!) and best of all, there will be prizes to be won. ^_^

2) Anglican Overseas Exchange Programme

Cast your votes for your holiday destination with the club:-

a) Malaysia
b) China (June due to the extreme cold weather)
c) Taiwan (June due to the extreme cold weather)

Date: this June holidays
Price: $1200 (to be revised again depending on the destination/hotel and transportation arrangements etc)

so boys and girls, make your choice then either
1) Cast your votes in the tagboard or
2) Inform Master Lee or your instructors

Meanwhile, for any enquiries and more updates about these two events, do pop down here more often!

:)

Hi to all Members of Anglican TKD!

There have been some major changes to the White 10 and 9 patterns of the syllabus. The patterns have been revised by the Federation and we're glad to inform that both our Master Lee attended the course held on 10 January'09.

Also, 5 of our club instructors joined in the course.
Namely,
JinHao
Shai
Derrick
JunWen
KaiXiang

Our instructors took the time to take part in these courses so as to keep abreast with the updated news and of course, disseminate the latest and most accurate information to the members of Anglican TKD.

Important Information:

The entire White 10 and 9 patterns have been revised.

1) Combined Basic Movements for White 10 (27 steps) -- now, known as Introductory Taegeuk (16 steps).
2) Basic Taegeuk for White 9 (24 steps) -- now known as Preliminary Taegeuk (16 steps)
3) The kicks for each Poomsae pattern have also been amended.

We're eager to spread our knowledge of these two new Poomsae movements to the members so... do not miss out on these during your trainings!

^_^
