Finally, inter-school championships 2009 is over !

"Congratulation, very successful event. Well done", said by the President of the Singapore Taekwondo Federation. Almost all school teachers and contestants had their thumb up for the event.

It had not been so successful without members' unselfishness contrubitions. Therefore, we would like to put on record to those who help out the event run by the Regent Secondary School TKD Club, supported by the Anglican TKD Group's members. And of course, jointly organised by the STF.

Specially thanks to the followings;

Mr Tan Tak Hua
Mr Ronald Lim
Ms Shai
Mr Ong Zi Bing
Mr Tan Jin Hao
Mr Ernest Lim
Mr Lee Kai Xiang
Mr Lu Si
Mr Tan Jun Wen
Ms Joyce Lim
Ms Lee Yan Ting

Without their contributions, the event would not be so successfully organised. Hence, Master Lee Darran had arranged a thank you session (BBQ) for all members and wanted them to share their experiences ( as referee, as coach, parents, and as helper). All members whose name above will be 50 % subsidy by him.

Some of our members did very well at the National Inter-school Championships. We are thinking of having an gathering for the occassion.

Therefore, we had planned to have a BBQ again but this time round will be at the Arana Resort. We intend to have it on the 25 of June 2009 from 3pm onward till next day noon. So members can stay overnight to relax and exchanging their experiences.

The main idea is that we want the new coaches, referees, and first timers who took part in tournament to shares their thought.

Extimated cost will be around S$40 to S$45 each depending on the number of member who are interested to join (including the resort charges).

Any member who is interested, please ask your instructors for more details.

LOOK !! another extra training session....... WOW ///////

After the seaside training last week, many members were eagerly wanted to join the extra session for sparring training. This were how they trained yesterday at Pasir Ris Elias CC in the Sunday morning.

They were looking forward for the session since last week. Some of the members couldn't sleep by just waiting for the sunrise on Sunday early in the morning.

Look at some of the junior members exchanging techniques during the session. It was supervised by the Chief trainer from our club, Mr. Tan.

Hi all,

As the Inter-School competition is approaching fast, our members have been training very hard for it, not forgetting the other upcoming tournaments.

For weeks, our fighter group has been going through intensive trainings for both Poomsae & Kyorugi and has displayed positive attitude in the preparation course for the competition.

Some of our members are even representing their individual schools in both Poomsae and Kyorugi events, dedicating their time and soul in the weekly trainings.

Having said that, blisters forming under our feet and pain are already nothing uncommon to us.

Let's all train hard together as a team and bring glory to the various schools Anglican TKD!
