"A successful and wonderful job done!"

Yes, this is one of the many compliments that we are receiving even until today, although the 1st Intraclub Competition ended two weeks ago.

On 11 December, participants from all the our training centers gathered at Mountbatten CC for a friendly sparring exchange in tournament-styled environment. It is a great learning process for all our students, as well as the junior coaches, who got the first hand experience in coaching their students inside the arena.

"I am very happy with the performance from all our students, I think it is really a good chance for them to get exposure and create a strong bonding among themselves," said trainer Gavin Tan, who started training the participants once they got to know of the competition.

This Competition as drawn a total of 34 participants and more than 70 supporters. We certainly hope that our students and parents have gained more knowledge of the sport, forged a stronger relationship with their child and the club, and most of all, looking forward to the 2nd Intraclub competition!

A very special thanks to our sponsors: Ms Wendy Lim, Ms Miki Tan, Mr Steven Tan and Mr Koh Yong Hock.

We are proud to join in the chingay 2012 for the STF's project. The STF Demostration team had trained our members at the Pasir Ris Elias Community Club for the past weeks and our members had benifited a lot.

As the date are closer, we will be joining the main rehearsal at the People's Assosication located at Jalan Besar HQ on this Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm.

All members who are involved in the demo are reminded to be there for the full rehearsal (total of more than 300 members) in full Taekwondo Debok.

Our club have committed at least 30 members for this big event and be a part of STF, we should come forward to render our services to make it a big success. We will be proud if our Federation is getting more and more well known by the public. Anglican TKD Group is proud to be affiliated to the Singapore Taekwondo Federation.

"A real spectacular show indeed!!"

This are some of the critics that our students gave right after show.

On the afternoon of 3rd December, some of our members from Concord Primary School represented our club by supporting the STF in the mass demonstration segment in the Korea Spectacular show.

Before the start of the whole event, the WTF demonstration team even held a short yet fruitful circuit style training session to all the participating members for poomsae, kyourugi and destruction segment. One of our members, Kaung Set Lin, even wow-ed the audience with his flexibility by performing the 3 levels of side kick, walking away with a souvenir plaque.

Other than the electrifying demonstration, Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee also shared with us his philosophy to a happy life with the 3 values: Truthful, Beautiful and Love.

"When I am truthful, my heart is beautiful. When my heart is beautiful, people loves me. When people loves me, I am happy!"
- Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee

Through this event, we strongly believe that our participating students had gain a lot of exposure and they will be glad to relate their positive experience to all our other members.

Our participating members and supporter.
